A truly packed avant-premiere demonstrated the power of Julian Hernández and Roberto Fiesco’s (producer) cinema. Their company and youngster dream, Mil nubes began exploring where no Mexican filmmaker explored before through the diversity of symbols and sexualities; gay film culture at its best. This time, Julián sumersaulted to a core of women’s stories where he developed Maru Huajuca’s script of revenge, feminism and transgender. I won’t do a review or something, but these are some short thoughts.
